Humanoid Robots

Humanoid Robots in the German
Mid-Market: What Works Today,
What Doesn’t, and Who Guides You Through It Realistically.

The humanoid market isn’t coming tomorrow. It’s here today — but messy, fragmented, and nowhere near ready for every use case. We’ve been watching it for ten years, installing commercial robots for eight, and we’ll tell you honestly what’s worth it for your company and what isn’t.

humanoid units

Chinese manufacturers delivered around 17,000 humanoid robots in 2025 — Unitree, AgiBot, Leju, UBTech, Booster, Fourier and others. Over 70,000 are announced for 2026. US manufacturers such as Figure, Agility and Tesla together delivered around 450 units in 2025 — they remain premium brands with selective distribution.

In Germany, BMW has been integrating the first humanoid systems at its Leipzig plant since March 2026, and Siemens is testing alongside Nvidia in Erlangen. In the broader mid-market, the pilot phase has only just begun — and that’s exactly the phase that requires operational substance, not order forms.

Who We Are

Ten Years of Robotics.
Seven Service Locations. Over 130 Technicians Across the DACH Region.

Roboterly is the service and distribution layer of the Humanizing Group for robotics in Central Europe — together with our joint venture partners Sertronics in Germany and Roboterly in Switzerland. We installed Germany’s first commercial Pudu service robot in 2020. Today we support hundreds of robots in live operation across hospitality, food service, retail, healthcare and industry.

The humanoid phase is the next step — and we bring the operational substance that most providers in the market don’t have today.

Pudu D9

Pudu D9

Pudu Robotics’ first full-size bipedal model, built on 80,000+ commercial robots delivered in 60+ countries. 170 cm, 65 kg, 42 DOF, dual-arm 7-DOF, 20+ kg payload.

Roboterly installed the first commercial Pudu in Germany in 2020 — we know Pudu’s platform logic, service requirements and scaling patterns from six years of daily operation. D9 marks Pudu’s transition from commercial service robotics to a humanoid platform; for our customer base in hospitality, healthcare and retail, it’s the structurally most relevant new platform for 2026/2027.

Unitree G1

Unitree (G1, H1, R1)

Chinese manufacturer with the highest unit availability. G1 as a research and pilot platform with an entry price of EUR 23,000 (incl. import), R1 more compact at EUR 8,400.

Suitable today for: research and development, showroom use, controlled pilot applications. Not suitable today for: standard industrial production operation, direct care use.

Agile One

Agile ONE

An industrially designed humanoid robot from Germany, developed for manufacturing, logistics and precision automation tasks in production environments.

Focused on industrial physical AI applications with high-precision robotic hands, AI-driven perception, and close collaboration with people and existing automation systems.

Figure, Boston Dynamics, Tesla — and Why We Say Openly That We Don’t Supply Them Today.

US premium brands such as Figure (02 and 03), Boston Dynamics (Atlas) and Tesla (Optimus) are not available through Roboterly today — none of them are available through distributors in Europe, and all three run selective direct distribution. We’ve been watching these manufacturers since their market entry and advise companies evaluating them for mid-term pilot projects.

If you’re specifically interested in Figure 03 or Boston Dynamics Atlas, we’ll tell you honestly where availability stands and which alternatives deliver better pilot results today. Roboterly’s strength lies not only in the technology itself — but in market understanding, the right contacts, and realistic guidance through humanoid pilot projects.

Roboterly sees humanoid robotics as more than just a product sale. We focus on the operational integration of humanoid robots into real-world business processes. In addition to the technology itself, companies gain access to personal founder-led consulting, practical evaluation, service and integration concepts, as well as a growing network covering support, training and operational expertise.
